Our Firm
Joseph T. Hardy & Son, Inc. was founded in 1921 in New Castle, Delaware. The company provides mechanical and electrical contracting services to commercial and residential markets in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Joseph T. Hardy & Son, Inc., has a full compliment of tradesmen that includes licensed plumbers, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, and construction superintendents. The remediation of hazardous waste and leaking underground storage tank sites is also part of the company's expertise.
Hardy Environmental Services, a Division of Joseph T. Hardy & Son, Inc., was founded in 1985 to provide regulatory expertise to the parent company. The Division performs environmental site assessments, indoor air quality surveys, mold testing and remediation, hydrogeologic investigations, environmental compliance audits and permitting for industry and business in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Our professional staff consists of certified environmental inspectors, geologists, subsurface evaluators, hazardous materials managers, mold remediators, industrial hygienists, and environmental scientists.
The unique combination of mechanical/electrical contracting and environmental consulting components allows us to perform projects without subcontractors.
Our corporation certificate is filed in the office of the recorder of deeds in and for New Castle County, Delaware. Our Company is licensed to conduct business in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Colorado. The goal of our highly trained and experienced staff is to provide timely, comprehensive, and economically viable contracting and consulting services to assist our clients.
